The Certificate III in Shopfitting was designed with shopfitters in mind. These individuals renovate or construct high-quality retail environments by designing, installing and finishing internal shopfitting partitions, units, and shopfronts. Their work also includes wall and floor preparation.

  • Shopfitter
To achieve this qualification, competency must be demonstrated in:
  • 18 units of competency:
  • 12 core units
  • 6 elective units.
For the elective units:
  • a minimum of four units must be selected from Group A
  • the remaining two units can be selected from Group A and/or Group B or from any currently endorsed Training Package or accredited course as long as they contribute to a valid, industry-supported vocational outcome and maintain the integrity of the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) level of this qualification.
