    Packaging Rules

    To achieve this qualification, the candidate must demonstrate competency in:

    • 15 units of competency:
    • 8 core units
    • 7 elective units.

    The elective units must ensure the integrity of the AQF alignment and contribute to a valid, industry-supported
    vocational outcome and are to be chosen as follows:

    • a minimum of 4 and up to 7 units from the elective units listed below
    • up to 3 units may be chosen from other Certificate III and IV qualifications in CPC08 or another current
      Training Package or accredited course.

    Some units in this qualification may have prerequisite requirements, which must be met when packaging
    the qualification. Users are referred to the list of CPC08 units with prerequisite unit requirements available
    in this Training Package for this purpose.
