Solid Plasterers are in demand because they have developed the particular ability for getting plaster on quickly. This course will give you the similar skills needed to perform a selection of reliable plastering tasks. This course will even deal with core skills that you require in any construction sector, which you may use for your potential profession.

You will need to provide a range of evidence to assist your assessor to make a decision about your competence. The types of evidence you may be asked to provide can include

• ID
• Resume
• Contracts
• Quotes/invoices and stock orders
• Job cards
• Drawings
• Payslips/work contract/ABN if self-employed
• Letter of Employment
• Current employment contracts
• Letters of reference from licensed tradesmen you have worked with.
• Videos or photos of your work.
• Evidence of overseas qualifications
• Samples of your work, quotations, including sketches, plans, tender documents and invoices.
• Transcripts or assessments from related previous qualifications.
• Apprenticeship papers.
• Safe work method statements
• Maintenance reports and service sheets

For a student, it is crucial to know the occupation he/she will eligible once finish a qualification successfully. If you complete this qualification, you will able to work with this role.

To achieve this qualification, the candidate must demonstrate competency in:

• 20 units of competency:

• 15 core units
• 5 elective units.

Electives are to be selected as follows:

• all five units from the electives listed below, or
• four units from the electives listed below, plus one unit selected from any current training package or accredited course as long as it contributes to a valid, industry-supported vocational outcome, maintains the integrity of the AQF level of this qualification and does not duplicate the outcome of another unit used to achieve this qualification.
