This certification provides an overview of the construction industry, its tradition, professions, job jobs and workplace anticipations. The qualification is constructed around a simple building venture project that combines the abilities and embeds the areas of employability skills in context.

You should give a scope of proof to help your assessor to settle on a choice about your ability. The sorts of proof you might be approached to give can include:

• Papers of your apprenticeship (if material)
• Any present work contracts
• Reference letters from at least one trades men you've worked with
• Proof of your abroad capabilities
• Appraisals or transcripts of past related capabilities
• Safe work technique proclamations
• Payslips/work contract/ABN if independently employed

• Photographs or video of your work
• Agreements
• Statements/solicitations and stock requests
• Occupation cards
• Support reports/administration sheets

To achieve this qualification, the candidate must demonstrate competency in 11 units of competency:

• 8 core units
• 3 elective units.

The elective units are to be chosen as follows:

• up to 3 units from the elective units below
• one unit from Certificate I or II qualifications in the CPC Training Package or another current Training Package or accredited course, provided the integrity of the AQF alignment is ensured, and it contributes to a valid, industry-supported vocational outcome.
